Schedule: This is a Full-Time position.
Position Reports to: Director of Residential Services
Compensation: up to $20.181 per hour (no certifications) or up to $25.477 per hour (with certifications)
Job Duties Include:
- Developing and maintaining an organizational plan and calendar of activities/events for recreational and community activities.
- Coordinating with community organizations.
- Finding and planning local activities and events that support recovery goals and foster community engagement.
- Purchasing and maintenance of recreational equipment.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team and other staff meetings as needed.
- Transporting and monitoring clients at community events.
- Responsible for recreational funds.
- Supervising recreational and community activities.
- Maintaining vehicle and activity logs.
- Maintain documents as per OASAS standards and Hope House policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of Associate’s Degree in related field required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health care facility providing recreation/activity services.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- CPR Training required or willing to be trained upon hire.
