The Staff Engineer will be working out of our office in San Diego, CA.
Job Summary:
Join a leading consulting firm specializing in Construction Materials Testing & Inspection. As a Staff Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction materials through comprehensive testing and inspection services.
Duties:
Prepare and review materials test reports for accuracy and compliance.
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine testing requirements.
Review and distribute field and lab reports to clients.
Develop and implement Quality Control Plans for various disciplines.
Assist Project Managers in overseeing project deliverables and timelines.
Support field staff with project-related issues.
Conduct project research, prepare designs, calculations, and reports.
Contribute to proposal preparation and project tracking efforts.
Education/Qualifications:
Knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience with Pavement Design and Laboratory Testing.
Certifications/Licenses:
EIT/FE Certification preferred but not required.
