Job Description

We're seeking an experienced web developer who excels at writing clean code, understands the structure behind technical decisions, is well-versed at debugging complex systems, and can clearly communicate in both technical and non-technical language. As a member of Crowd Favorite, you'll leverage these skills to both build new features and maintain high-performing content management platforms for enterprise clients, with a focus on stability and performance while growing your technical capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

Implement new features and maintain existing enterprise platforms

Provide technical support for business-critical applications

Debug and resolve complex production issues

Optimize system performance and implement caching strategies

Build custom plugins and integrate third-party services

Monitor and maintain high-traffic production environments

Perform security updates and maintenance within defined SLAs

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions

Collaborate with senior developers on architecture and best practices

Contribute to technical documentation

Support client communications alongside senior team members

RequirementsRequired Experience:

3+ years of professional PHP development experience, including Laravel applications and WordPress

TypeScript and Node.js expertise, with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks

Demonstrated experience maintaining and extending enterprise content management platforms

Proven ability to debug complex production issues and implement automated testing solutions

Solid understanding of API development, integration, and RESTful architecture patterns

Advanced knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalable solutions

Proficiency with version control systems and modern deployment processes

Experience working with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Cloudflare

Ability to write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation

Technical Capabilities:

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Ability to implement complex features independently

Understanding of database optimization and query performance

Experience with modern development tools and practices

Knowledge of security best practices and updates

Comfort with command line and server environments

Experience with build tools and deployment processes

Support & Maintenance Skills:

Experience handling production support tickets

Ability to prioritize issues based on business impact

Understanding of monitoring and logging systems

Experience with performance profiling and optimization

Knowledge of security best practices and update procedures

Ability to document issues and solutions clearly

Professional Skills:

Clear written and verbal communication

Ability to explain technical concepts to team members

Strong problem-solving abilities

Experience working in remote teams

Excellent time management and prioritization skills

B2 CEFR level of spoken and written English language proficiency
