Senior Microsoft Server / VMWare Engineer

Job Description

Dox Electronics Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Level Systems Engineer with experience in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise level systems and software in a variety of customer environments.

Technical Competencies:

IT-knowledge: Advanced and in-depth IT and IT workflow knowledge

Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.

Experience & working knowledge of the following Technologies/Protocols (not limited to the list below):

Microsoft Windows Server thru 2022 in an enterprise environment

Installation, Configuration, and Administration

VMware ESX - Installation, Configuration, and Administration

Microsoft SQL Server thru SQL Server 2022

Client Operating Systems: Windows 10/11

Microsoft Office 365 migration and support

Microsoft Active Directory / Domain Controllers

Citrix Desktop application and NetScaler

HPE Servers, HPE Sans

Working knowledge of Networking - default gateways, virtual LANs, static routes, and IP network address space.

PowerShell

RAID Levels 1-5, DICOM, HL7, VLAN, Switches, Firewalls, Routers etc.

Office: Skilled on MS office applications and related products

Other Professional Skills:

Articulate communicator, fluent in English with excellent listening skills

Self-motivated and ambitious

Great written and oral skills

A team player who isn't a clock watcher

Must be detailed, precise and accurate

Excellent skills in maintaining relationships with clients and other external parties
