Unique, fun, and exciting product sales opportunity for a dynamic, friendly, and engaging salesperson. The Great Estate Roadshow, established in 2009, is a premier buyer of estate jewelry, precious metals, gold and silver coins, antiques, and collectibles. If you’ve ever seen “Antiques Roadshow”, this is similar to what we do. We set up boutique “buying events” at various hotel locations throughout the region, where folks come to sell us their estate items. Unlike a true “sales” role, here you’re not actually “selling” anything (we’re “buying”) which means people are thrilled to be there and wait in line to meet with you. You’ll be trained to be an expert buyer of a wide variety of estate items. No specific industry experience is necessary, providing you have a great personality and a teachable spirit.

Must be able to work on Saturday and occasional Sundays. Most events are within the Midwest region, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys some light travel, including potential overnight stays when needed.

Travel (to Chicago) for a one week training is required. Travel is paid by the Great Estate Roadshow.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain quick relationships with customers.

Present yourself in a professional manner.

Negotiate deals and pricing on the items that the company purchases.

Meet or exceed sales targets and achieve performance goals.

Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on client needs.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in a travel or field sales role.

Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Fast learner.

Willingness to travel for multiple days at a time

Ability to adapt to different markets and customer needs.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be available to work every Saturday.
