Blend/Batch Maker

Job Description

Looking for a hands-on role in manufacturing? We’re hiring a Blend/Batch Maker in North Chicago! This position involves mixing ingredients and following formulas to ensure product quality. Great opportunity for someone with blending, batching, or production experience.

Location: North Chicago, IL

Schedule: 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday

Pay rate: $19/hr

Duties:

Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to batch formulas and safety procedures.

Operate blending equipment, pumps, and mixing tanks to produce chemical batches.

Monitor temperatures, pressures, and flow rates during the blending process.

Accurately document batch records, production data, and any deviations.

Follow all company safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling.

Clean and maintain blending equipment and work areas to ensure quality and safety.

Collaborate with quality control to ensure product consistency and meet specifications.

Assist in inventory management of raw materials and finished products

Requirements:

Prior experience in chemical blending, batch making, or a manufacturing/production environment.

Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, formulas, and safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and mixing materials.

Comfortable working with chemicals and using PPE (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Basic math and measurement skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
