As our Accountant / Purchasing Coordinator, you will:

Accounting Excellence: Manage all accounting functions, including end-of-day reporting, bank reconciliations, and A/R management. You will prepare month-end financial statements and journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records.

Customer Engagement: Handle customer inquiries over the phone, assist with outstanding invoices, and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Procurement Mastery: Prepare and manage purchase orders, negotiating with vendors to secure the best pricing and timeliness in procurement. You will collaborate closely with sales and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and streamline purchasing decisions.

Analytical Reporting: Conduct ad hoc reporting and data entry while maintaining accurate financial documentation. You'll contribute valuable insights to help us achieve our annual budget goals and enhance our purchasing strategies.

**Expectations for Success:**

We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

Financial Acumen: Ability to manage cash and line of credit effectively, ensuring liquidity while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Timeliness: All monthly financial reporting is completed by the 10th of each month, showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency: Strong experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, and QuickBooks Enterprise, with outstanding analytical abilities.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with purchasing best practices, especially in the stone, brick, supply, and landscape sectors, will set you apart.
