HVAC/R Technical Service Advisor
New Castle, Delaware
Overview: Our client - a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC/R equipment, parts, and other supplies - is looking for a Technical Service Advisor (TSA) in the New Castle, Delaware region. The TSA will be responsible for providing both technical and non-technical support for customers and other team members regarding HVAC/R equipment use, operation, and maintenance. Responsible for developing and leading the technical service department to increase customer retention, company profitability, and team camaraderie.
Responsibilities:
-Support customers and team members by diagnosing technical problems with company equipment and determining proper solutions
-Develop and present educational information and training workshops for internal employees at all 4 branches to strengthen their knowledge in the HVAC/R industry and company product lines/services provided
-Provide proper field support for all 4 branches and product lines
-Coordinate vendor product training workshops and educational information
-Develop and present live educational programs in conjunction with the Marketing Department
-Provide expert-level knowledge of the HVAC/R product lines" functions, features, benefits, vendor locations, etc.
Qualifications:
-10+ years of residential/commercial experience testing, repairing, servicing, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems, commercial HVAC equipment, and ductless VRV/VRF systems
-Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite and CRM Systems (Eclipse preferred)
-EPA universal and 410A certifications
-HVAC/R degree, certification, or license preferred
-Ability to travel to different contractor sites throughout NJ, DE, and MD.
-Valid DL and clean driving record
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Dayshift)
Estimated Hours: 40-45 hours/week
OT/Weekends: As needed
