Kadon Aerospace is a leading aerospace manufacturing company dedicated to precision engineering and innovation. We specialize in producing high-quality components that meet the rigorous standards of the aerospace industry. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities team.

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations of our CNC & Aerospace facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machinery maintenance, preventative maintenance planning, and team leadership to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime in our production operations.

Essential duties & responsibilities but not limited to:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in CNC machinery.

Manage and lead the maintenance team, providing training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Maintain and monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine efficiency and reliability.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports on equipment performance and downtime.

Develop and oversee budgets related to maintenance activities, including cost control and capital expenditure planning.

Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs, upgrades, and service contracts.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications & Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a CNC machining environment.

Strong knowledge of CNC machines, including mills, lathes, routers, and grinders.

Expertise in troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities.

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with FANUC, Siemens, or Haas CNC controls.

Certification in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent technical training.

Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) strategies.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication and documentation skills.
