Hiring for DRIVERS AND MOVERS

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Crew Leader/Driver to join our team and help load and unload furniture and other items in our Acton,MA location. The position include the following

Responsibility:

Loading, packing and unloading items with care

Ensuring that no items are damaged while moving

Wrapping furniture in protective material

Deliver and set-up furniture inside client homes, as required or requested

Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a professional manner

Collect furniture from residential or commercial locations

Protect all donated furniture from damage through established best practices

Collect payments and issue receipts

Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage

Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed

Regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle

Pay Structure & Benefits:

Crew Leader / Drivers: $18 - $25 an hour

Requirements and skills:

Proven work experience as a Mover or similar role

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects throughout the day

Punctual and professional attitude

Relevant training and/or certifications as a Mover

Valid Driver’s License ( for driver position)

Clean Driving Record

Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts

Proven experience as a Driver

Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

A high school qualification or equivalent would be preferable
