Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our company as a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for participating in and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, and leading warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing & Participating in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, and leading a team of warehouse staff

Oversee, manage and participate in all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, purchase orders, and shipping of products

Communicate effectively with sales staff and vendors

Can write up purchase orders

Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks

Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity

Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed

Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Maintain records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, orders, and shipments

Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner

Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse, with at least 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role

• Must be able to bend, stand/reach, pull, lift and carry objects in a non-airconditioned warehouse

• Proven experience managing staff, training and supervising a team

• Proven/demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment

* Must be good on a computer

• Can lift 40+ LBS

• Can operate a forklift

• Must be able to write up a Bill of lading

• Must be able to wrap and strap pallets

• Must be able to write up shipping labels

• Experience working with an Ecommerce type company where products are ordered from company and shipped out

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of ShipStation

• Additional certifications or trainings in warehouse managementCompany Description
