Program Description:

The Service Automation Technician will perform Service and Maintenance activities on cleanroom PODs and other manufacturers cleanrooms. They will be responsible for following written procedures, inspecting/troubleshooting key equipment, and documenting work activities.

Service Execution 80%

Performs inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities on cleanroom automation systems, including relays, controls, PLCs, I/O modules, VFDs, interfaces, instrumentation, etc.

Assist Automation Engineering in troubleshooting and resolving automation programming issues

Performs additional service work activities, such as Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) and Cleanroom Performance Testing (CPT) by following industry guidelines

Communicates work progress to both internal team as well as customer

Interacts professionally and possibly with all customers and staff while on sites

Develop an understanding of company service offerings and actively promote them both internally and externally

Recordkeeping and Documentation 20%

Fully documents work activities and results using Good Documentation Practices

Documents any discrepancies/deviations that occur during testing.

Generates Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Forms

Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues and works with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate correction of issues.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Required

Experience in automation system controls, with knowledge of both conventional and direct digital control (DDC) technologies, including current industry standards and tools

Preferred

Experience working and knowledge pertaining to pharmaceutical cleanrooms

Preferred

Knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, common control strategies, installation, operations and maintenance

Required

Skill in basic computer functions such as word processing, spreadsheets, and internet usage

Language Abilities:
