Job Description:

Hansen Agri-Commodities, LLC is a risk management company servicing agricultural producers primarily in the Upper Midwest. We help producers develop a marketing plan specific to their individual grain and livestock needs. Hansen Agri-Commodities, LLC monitors the local markets, keep producers plugged in to market-making news developments and make the calls when it is time to sell. We keep producers up-to-date with management reports detailing their market status after every move.

Job Summary:

Risk Management Advisor will analyze industry info, both domestic and global to make profitable decisions for their customers and Hansen Agri-Commodities, LLC. The Risk Management Advisor will spend much of their time on the phone with producers going over current market conditions.

Job Duties:

· Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.

· Communicate market changes with producers.

· Recognize and manage the risks (global, customer, weather, etc) associated with doing business in any given market.

· Execute contracts and agreements (including futures and options when applicable) on the customers behalf.

· Maintain regular communication with customers.

· Obtain a Series 3 Commodity Brokers License

· Will travel some of the time at first.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

· 2-4 year college degree or equivalent education/experience.

· General working knowledge of futures spreads and grain basis.

· Highly organized and ability to multi-task

· Strong communication and listening skills

· Strong customer service focus.

· Friendly personality to work with customers.

· Integrity needed to have farmers trust you with their grain and livestock marketing decisions.

· Some travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

· General working knowledge of grain and/or livestock production is helpful but not required.

· Series 3 Commodity Brokers License
