We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Sales Representative who possesses unmatched people skills! This is not a desk job. This job (contingent on hiring location) covers Raleigh, Wilmington, Fayetteville, Wilmington and surrounding Markets. The Sales Representative position requires someone who enjoys working outside of a cubicle and is comfortable talking to anyone. Responsible for selling products and services to commercial businesses within a service area. Qualified candidate will have at least 3 years of successful Business to Business Sales, and a Bachelor's Degree. Base pay will be between $55,000 - $65,000, not including commission pay or travel incentives. Total FY compensation of 90k-100K based on performance

Core Functions

Promotes our products and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Work with potential clients to show how we can address their long-term needs.

Details of Function

80%: Generate new business for our products/services including, but not limited to, permanent front load and roll off services, temporary roll off services (typically for construction sites)

20%: Retain and grow existing customers through a proactive approach

Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers

Initiate calls and in-person visits to current and prospective customers

Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers

Expedite the resolution of customer issues

Analyze market potential and determine the value to our organization

Knowledge of all services and products offered in each of our locations with great focus on Frontload Trash Services

Qualifications:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment providing front line customer support

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Networking skills

Presentable and polished appearance

Collaborates well in team environment

Sensitive to clients’ needs, and can develop lasting client relationships

Ability to adapt to a variety of people

Outgoing personality and a willingness to talk to anybody

Strong time management and organizational skills required

Strong time management and organizational skills required

Familiar with using CRM software to record activities and manage pipeline

Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Great math skills

Leadership qualities

Waste management knowledge a plus
