Position Overview:
Phil's Propane is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative (CSR) at our Tiverton, Rhode Island location. In this key front-line role, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of Phil's Propane, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. You'll be crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations and assisting our clients with their diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for Phil's Propane, professionally answering multiple telephone lines, determining the purpose of calls, and directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.
Warmly greet walk-in clients at Phil's Propane, assess their needs efficiently, and guide them to the correct staff member or department.
Provide comprehensive administrative support for Phil's Propane, including processing daily work accurately and efficiently.
Manage and administer the Fuel Assistance program for Phil's Propane clients, ensuring compliance and providing support to eligible clients.
Assist Phil's Propane clients with budget setup and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate effectively with other team members at Phil's Propane, offering support and assistance as needed to ensure seamless workflow.
Process payments accurately and in a timely manner for Phil's Propane.
Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment at Phil's Propane, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and pay close attention to detail.
Demonstrate dependability and flexibility in work schedule for Phil's Propane, including availability to work scheduled Saturdays.
Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with Phil's Propane clients and colleagues.
Demonstrate a comfortable working proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tasks such as data entry, basic calculations, and report generation for Phil's Propane.
Possess a comfortable working proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing for Phil's Propane.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in customer service.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role.
Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate various software applications.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team at Phil's Propane.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service for Phil's Propane.
Dependable and adaptable to changing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English (Required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Experience:
Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
Receptionist: 3 years (Required)
Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and comfortable using various other computer programs.
Language:
English (Required)
