Job Title: Experienced Phlebotomist

Location: Waterloo, IL

Schedule: start time 6 am

Compensation: $25 per HR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. This is not a training position. The ideal candidate must be proficient in venipuncture and fully capable of processing all collected specimens according to laboratory standards. You will be responsible for ensuring specimen integrity and accuracy while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with accuracy and care.

Label, process, and prepare specimens (blood, urine, swabs, etc.) for transport or in-house testing.

Ensure all specimens are correctly identified and documented in accordance with regulatory and laboratory requirements.

Maintain and operate centrifuges, refrigerators, and other specimen processing equipment.

Accurately complete required documentation, including patient records and lab requisitions.

Follow proper infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and lab staff.

Manage supply inventory and notify supervisor when reordering is needed.

Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.Company Description
