SUMMARY: Everest Client seeks and Accounting Supervisor to oversee cash and bank reconciliation operations. This position requires a strategic blend of strong leadership capabilities and deep technical expertise, with particular emphasis on advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query and complex functions) and hands-on experience with IDS (Integrated Dealer Systems) software.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise a team responsible for completing high-volume, multi-account bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
· Serve as the subject matter expert for reconciliation processes, driving continuous improvement and system optimization.
· Lead month-end close activities related to cash and banking transactions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
· Troubleshoot discrepancies and investigate complex reconciling items to resolution.
· Maintain and enhance reconciliation templates and automation processes using advanced Excel functions (X-lookup, power query, macro utilizations).
· Provide support to team members on reconciliation procedures, Excel techniques, and software usage.
· Assist with internal and external audit requests related to cash and reconciliations.
· Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members to support overall departmental goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
· Fundamental understanding of GAAP.
· 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with 1+ years in a supervisory or team lead role.
· Extensive experience with bank reconciliations in a multi-entity environment.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
· Strong experience with ERP systems, IDS is a plus.
· Analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and propose informed decisions.
· Strong work ethic.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
· Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
· Experience in dealership or RV industry accounting is preferred.
· Proven record of process improvement and automation in accounting functions is preferred.
