Salary: 90,000

As a Masonry Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate cost estimates that will guide our bidding and project execution processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our company remains competitive and delivers high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including but not limited to commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project scope.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant cost information and clarify project requirements.

Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends, materials, and labor costs in the industry.

Prepare bid proposals and presentation materials for clients, highlighting our capabilities and value proposition.

Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all estimates are competitive and accurate.

Assist in project budgeting and cost control throughout the construction process.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and support their professional development.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong background in masonry. masonry restoration, concrete.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Stratosphere.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
