Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a MIS Financial Analyst to join the Management Information System and Informatics team!

Description:

The MIS Financial Analyst will serve as the central contact for applications used within the hospital. Applications include but are not limited to the following: Patient Accounting, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Human Resources, Payroll, Medical Records, Materials Management, and Scanning & Archiving. Will be responsible for policy creation, work-flow creation, independent direction, implementation, training, and upgrades for the applications. The position requires interaction with end users including the Executive Team, Directors, end-users, and third-party vendors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent discipline is desired.

2-years exposure to the healthcare industry within Financial Applications

Firm knowledge of information systems and system analytics.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report troubleshooting ability.

Hours:

Minimum 40-hour work week. Rotating weekly call. Flex schedules and shift work are possible during implementation. May be required to work other hours for effective department operations.
