Since selling to a Private Equity (PE) firm years back, the company has seen strategic growth and now seeks a high-potential accounting professional who can evolve into the future CFO within the next few years.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Full ownership of Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End close processes
Prepare and manage financial reporting for internal leadership and PE partners
Oversee audit and state tax filings
Serve as the primary liaison with the PE firm on all financial reporting and ad-hoc requests
Lead and eventually expand the accounting function, initially managing one direct report and later assuming responsibility for a team of six
Maintain and improve internal controls, financial systems, and reporting accuracy
Support ongoing automation initiatives and leverage tools such as Excel and SQL
Ideal Candidate Profile:
5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
Public accounting background required (Big 4 preferred but open to any public) – Audit or Assurance focus
Motivated self-starter with a strong drive
Comfortable in a non-micromanaged environment
Strong proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL is a plus
Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required
Strong understanding of audit processes and tax fundamentals
Location:
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Only local Fort Worth candidates will be considered.
