Position: General Superintendent

Location: El Segundo, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Senior Manager/Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on tenant improvements. This role is critical to ensuring project success through expert coordination, quality control, and leadership on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage field operations across multiple active jobsites.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with scope, schedule, and safety.

Maintain clear communication with project teams regarding RFIs, ASIs, and submittals.

Conduct and document daily site inspections and logs using Procore.

Facilitate weekly subcontractor and safety meetings.

Identify and resolve construction conflicts proactively.

Oversee final punch list execution and project closeout.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 510 years in commercial construction as a Senior or General Superintendent.

Expertise: Strong background in tenant improvements and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with Los Angeles and Orange County municipalities, including building codes and inspection processes.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

Skilled in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experienced with Procore and Bluebeam

Certifications:

OSHA Certification

First Aid/CPR Certification

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and communication abilities

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Client-focused and professional demeanor

Ability to build rapport with clients, tenants, and subcontractors

Mobility: Willingness to travel between Los Angeles and Orange County jobsites.
