Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses, form parts to print, and document progress. The role requires maintaining efficiency in a high-volume environment while aiming for minimal or zero scrap levels. You will be responsible for identifying material defects throughout the runs.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses.
Form parts according to print specifications and document progress.
Maintain high efficiency in a high-volume environment.
Strive for minimum or zero scrap levels.
Identify and address material defects during production runs.Essential Skills
At least 6 months of blueprint reading experience.
Proficiency in using measurement tools such as protractors, calipers, and dial calipers.
Minimum 6 months of experience operating a press brake or punch press.
6 months of CNC machine operating experience.
Experience setting up machines with PLC programming, including the ability to edit.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a sheet metal facility.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience on press brake or punch press.
Experience performing 4 or more changeovers per day.
Ability to lift 60+ lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and spacious, equipped with heating and air conditioning. You will be part of a team of 10 per shift, working structured hours from Monday to Friday across three shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. The dress code requires steel or composite toe shoes, jeans or docker pants, and safety glasses. Nails must be shorter than two inches, and earbuds are not permitted on the floor. Smoking is only allowed in cars, and cell phones must be stored in lockers or cars. Orientation for candidates is held from 7am to 9:30am, with arrival at 6:45am for parking and entry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
