Job Title: CNC Mill Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Mill Operator to join our team in a Quality role, focusing on re-milling parts as defects are identified. This position involves gathering, collecting, and inspecting product runs across the facility, testing and measuring manufactured parts, and re-milling errors discovered. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will primarily operate a 4 Axis CNC Mill, change machine parts, monitor product runs, and perform quality functions to support the Quality Lab.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor a 4 Axis CNC Mill, changing machine codes and parts as necessary.

Perform quality functions to test, document, measure, and machine products, ensuring compliance before shipment.

Engage in heavy documentation, data entry, data tracking, and reporting, using software to manage quality-related information.

Conduct inspections of dies using manual and digital tools and operate lab equipment for testing and visual inspections.

Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and squares to check dimensions.

Participate in kitting and assembly of dies and operate overhead cranes.

Cross-train to run other product lines and perform housekeeping and general labor duties as necessary.

Identify non-conforming products and reset machine programs, collaborating with the Quality Lab team.Essential Skills

Intermediate to expert level experience in CNC machine operations.

Mechanical aptitude with precision measurement capabilities.

Experience in data entry and laboratory environments.

Ability to use hand grinders and grinding wheels for die finishing.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Lab Technician and Metal Fabrication roles.

Knowledge of metal properties and quality assurance principles.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have Mill experience.

Working towards or completion of an engineering degree or related experience.

Testing experience with the ability to measure and test own products in the lab.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
