Job Description & Schedule

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with most positions on the off shifts. Shifts are as follows: 1st Shift (6:30am - 2:30pm), 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm), and 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 6:30am).

This role requires mandatory work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with voluntary overtime during the week. This is a highly automated facility where you will work closely in a team setting, using a laptop and communication device frequently. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing new, highly automated equipment primarily focused on pneumatics and automation equipment, with some basic PLC edits. There are no hydraulic systems involved.

Engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production.

Provide technical assistance to operators and other departments regarding automated systems.

Perform routine maintenance checks, identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions on automated machinery and processes.

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical and electrical components and systems.

Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, completed repairs, equipment issues, and replacement part usage.

Install new and automated systems and equipment, including wiring, configuring controllers, and setting up sensors.

Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency.

Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper operation of production equipment.

Conduct daily checks of production equipment during up and downtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment.

Strong experience repairing pneumatic systems.

Understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, pneumatic and computer control systems.

Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to complex technical issues within automated systems.

Familiarity with mechanical components, including servo motors, actuators, AC motors, and sensors.Work Environment

The facility is enormous, requiring a lot of walking from building to building and across the plant. One department is a dry room, necessitating the use of specific garb and beard nets if applicable. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, with a strong emphasis on 5S3K practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.

The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
