Technical Marketing Manager

Location: Irvine, CaliforniaJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $140,000 - 180,000 per yearWe are seeking a skilled individual to establish and drive the Technical Marketing function for our business networking solutions and product portfolio.

This role requires a versatile professional adept at collaborating with engineering teams, crafting compelling marketing content, and presenting effectively across various internal and external platforms, both in person and virtually.

The successful candidate will serve as the go-to Marketing expert for core technologies and software applications within our business networking solutions.

with technical and product teams to identify key technologies in current and future offerings that provide significant advantages for users.

Stay informed about market trends and competitor products, communicating these insights internally on a regular and ad-hoc basis.Develop marketing content highlighting key technologies and software applications in various formats, including white papers, contributed articles, website content, presentations, and press releases.Serve as a spokesperson for key technologies and software applications at events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and with media outlets.Create engaging demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of key technologies and software applications.Conduct internal training sessions as required for colleagues in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams.Develop, in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team, campaigns and materials across various channels that address the needs of customers and channel partners, focusing on key technologies and software applications.Partner with design colleagues to ensure all materials are visually appealing and align with brand guidelines.Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and industry thought leaders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.4+ years of progressive experience demonstrating increasing influence in a technical marketing, applications engineering, or similar role requiring extensive communication of technical features for both hardware and software products to diverse audiences.Extensive knowledge and experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), Gateways, Switching technologies, Access Points (APs), and vertical networking solutions for sectors such as retail, hospitality, and education.Demonstrated ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the creation of marketing materials across various media and the use of demonstrations.Experience serving as a spokesperson in a variety of settings.A strong passion for continuous learning and facilitating the learning of others.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
