Job Summary

Belcan is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support our customer at their Engine Center facility in Middletown, CT. This role will primarily focus on managing quality transactions related to aircraft products identified during engine build activities.

Hybrid work arrangement (on-site support with some remote flexibility). Minimal to no travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities

Provide quality engineering support at our clients facility.

Manage quality transactions and issues involving products during engine build operations.

Coordinate corrective actions and quality resolutions with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for product quality concerns at the customer site.

Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities and support root cause analysis efforts.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Core Qualifications

Minimum of two (5) years of relevant quality engineering and manufacturing experience.

Strong background in aerospace manufacturing or related high-complexity industries.

Experience supporting product quality at customer sites or within supplier-facing environments.

Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong customer focus.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.

Ability to work on-site in Middletown, CT with hybrid flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in supplier quality, field quality support, or engine center operations.

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or aerospace quality standards.

Hands-on experience conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions (8D methodology).

Previous experience working directly with Pratt & Whitney or other aerospace OEMs is a plus.
