Manufacturing Engineer job duties:

Product Line reviews, Create torqueing strategies

Perform lab testing of created strategies, Perform product testing

IT/data collection implementation

Workstation tooling design

Ergonomic analysis and tool support implementation

Other responsibilities to include but not limited to data packaging, reports, spreadsheets, presentations etc.

Work closely with the customer shop floor operators, mechanical engineers, and management to understand customer needs, build project packages, perform lab testing along with actual product line hardware trials, create data packages for tooling implementation and perform final trial for IT implementation.

Work would include but not be limited to project reporting to Technical Lead, Project Manager and Group Lead, scheduling trials, tracking product line progress and communicating with shop floor on daily basis.

Core Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Zero through Five years of manufacturing engineer experience within the aerospace industry; ideally 1 or more years" experience with Atlas Copco

Knowledge of assembly & manufacturing practices

Knowledge of blueprints and engineering specifications

Legal authorization to work in the US required: Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship

Desired but not required skills:

Experience in programing and implementing Atlas Copco PF4000 and PF6000 Smart Torque tooling

Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 quality requirements
