The Role

GIS Tech Lead

Your responsibilities:

Connect with stakeholders to understand current applications and pain points

Based on discussion prepare requirement document and propose new architecture

Based on approved architecture, prepare detailed design for solutioning

Build environment alongwith customer

Development of applications and deployment of applications

Involve in UAT

User training if required

Project documentation

Ideal candidate will have around 10 years of total experience with minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Experience with GE Smallworld Product suites 4.x, 5.x

Programming skills in Magik development language

Experience in Agile methodology

Knowledge of FME, ESRI, Geospatial Analysis

Mandatory certification – GE SmallWorld

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

Programming skills in Java Script, HTML5, SQL

Good experience in Microsoft Server, Linux

Knowledge of cloud technology

Knowledge of Geospatial Server + Kubernetes

Effective verbal and written communication\

Team Management
