Collections/Customer Service Clerk in Warsaw, NC
Job Summary
We seek a hard-working and reliable Collections/Customer Service Clerk. A collections clerk's job is to collect payments on overdue accounts and bad checks, and to contact debtors to make arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicating with debtors: Contacting debtors to request payment on delinquent accounts, and to notify them of overdue payments
• Updating account status: Reviewing and updating account status in accordance with established guidelines
• Maintaining records: Keeping a log of payment promises and relevant account details
• Monitoring reports: Monitoring accounts receivable and cash receipt reports
• Compiling reports: Compiling reports relating to collection work
• Setting up payment arrangements: Setting up payment arrangements with debtors
• Resolving issues: Working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing
• Computer and communication skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
• Good communication skills
• Submit to Drug Screen, Background Search and Credit Check.
