The Advance Group is currently seeking a 1st shift CNC Machinist for a Machine Shop in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will possess Mastercam Programming experience.

Responsibilities of the Machinist:

Set up and operate Mill and Lathe CNC machines

Perform manual machining operations on mills, lathes, grinding machines, saws, and various shop equipment

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, work instruction, and geometric tolerancing

Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dials, and gauges

Inspect and verify workpieces for accuracy and conformance to specs

Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized

Load/unload machines and package parts

Use gauges and hand tools

Perform advanced machining operations involving very close tolerances and perform mathematical calculations Compensation for the Machinist:

$18-30/hr depending on experience Hours for the Machinist:

Hours are Monday â Friday 8am-4:30pm Requirements of the Machinist:

3+yrs CNC Programming experience with Mastercam

CNC Machining experience

Working knowledge of G and M codes and advanced shop mathematics

Must have extensive experience using gauges and measuring devices

Must be able to read blueprints

Ability to perform maintenance and major repairs to equipment

Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.
