Summary
The Data Analyst, Collective Impact, will play a critical role in expanding the capacity of Keys to Change and its partners in leveraging data for strategic decision-making to end homelessness. This position will convene data leaders across the homelessness sector to maximize available data, identify trends, and translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, service providers, and the broader community.
Essential Functions
Conduct and manage analyses for all Keys to Change programming to drive data-informed decision-making.
Provide data insights, statistics, and narrative support to reinforce Keys to Change’s thought leadership in ending homelessness.
Convene data leaders across homelessness-focused stakeholders to enhance data collaboration and identify trends that inform system-level solutions.
Represent Keys to Change in the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Data Collaborative.
Equip and energize Keys to Change leaders to use data effectively in programmatic strategies and interventions.
Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, external stakeholders, and policymakers.
Develop public-facing materials, including visualizations and narrative storytelling, to make data accessible and compelling for the general public.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, data science, public policy) or equivalent work experience demonstrating expertise in data analysis.
5+ years of experience in non-profit, government, data strategy, or an analytical function focused on synthesizing data for strategic direction.
Mastery of spreadsheet-based analysis and proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, SQL, R.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into digestible insights for diverse audiences.
Experience conducting complex data analysis and collaborating across sectors to translate findings into actionable solutions.
Ability to design models and analyses that are accessible to both technical experts and community members.
Comfortable presenting finding and data-driven recommendations to large groups, including non-data professionals.
Required Functional Abilities
Proficiency in Windows and Google Suite.
Demonstrated expertise with Tableau and other data visualization tools.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and belonging, with an ability to work alongside individuals with lived experience of homelessness and housing insecurity.
Understanding of racial disparities in homelessness and a commitment to advancing solutions that address systemic inequities, particularly among Black and other communities of color.
Work Environment
Mobility sufficient to conduct regular duties within a normal office environment.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds in order to safely manage office supplies and equipment.
May require occasional travel.
Office-based position at our Administration office.
