Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated professional individual to apply CVS and industry best practices for quality assurance to ensure that CVS Retail IT Systems meet business needs and quality objectives.
The Sr Quality Engineer leads QA efforts on medium to large size projects, business support requests (BSRs), and off-cycle QA requests, and is accountable for ensuring the quality outcomes of assigned projects and requests. The Sr Quality Engineer is responsible and accountable for defining comprehensive test strategies, plans and environment checklist requirements for manual testing, and leads and actively participates in test case development and execution for assigned projects and requests. This position will also lead and guide the analyst staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of relevant Quality Assurance experience
A minimum of 5 years experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC and STLC methodologies
Minimum 1 year experience in backend testing writing SQL, understanding of data relationships
Minimum 1 year prior experience in Web Services Testing (SOAP and RESTFUL)
1 year familiarity with C#, .NET environments
Proven leadership abilities
Ability to learn quickly and stay current with new technologies
Ability to work to a schedule and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding and experience with automation testing tool (UI Path)
Prior experience with TIBCO integration software
1 year of understanding of pharmacy billing processes
Understanding and experience with Agile Requirements Designer (ARD) software.
Understanding and experience in test management tool Azure DevOps Server
Prior experience in leading testing for an offshore/onshore model
Familiarity with the Claims2Work prescription claim issues handling system
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Understanding of defect tracking tools
Strong knowledge of MS word, Excel, Project and Visio
Education
BA/BS degree in business, computer science or technology related field with eight years Software Quality Assurance experience, or an equivalent work experience in software quality assurance

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$64,890.00 - $129,780.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
