A Quality Engineer Job in Springfield, MA is now accepting applications. This is a direct hire role with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will complete FAI"s and provide training for FAI completion to AS9102 requirements and Specific Customer documentation. To be considered, you will have B.S. Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), along with 3+ years of experience with FAI completion.

Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities:

Complete FAI"s to AS9102 requirements

Monitoring an entire production process and performing regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the early stages

Inspecting raw materials and finished goods to find defects and enhance durability

Identifying the root causes of technical issues and performing corrective actions

Preparing reports and documentations on malfunctions and corrective measures

Reviewing product blueprints and quality documentations

Setting and tracking assurance goals

Coordinating with external Quality Assurance Auditors and Technicians to ensure legal compliance

Working with internal teams to improve the quality of products for enhancing customer satisfaction

Quality Engineer Job Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Engineering (preferred)

3+ years of experience with FAI's under AS9102

Strong hands-on technical skills

Use of Discus software

Submitting FAI"s through Net-Inspect if required.

Collins HSM236 FAI requirements

Advanced knowledge of GD&T

Experience reading and interpreting technical specifications

Working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
