Opportunity:
The Marketing Manager will play a key role in elevating DeVry’s presence among business leaders and promoting DeVry and Keller programs to employer partners and international students. The individual will develop and execute full funnel, omnichannel marketing campaigns aimed at expanding organizational partnerships and driving student enrollments. They will collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, product, operations, CRM, and external agencies, ensuring alignment with university goals and objectives. Success in this role is defined by meeting measurable KPIs and fostering strong, lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring timely delivery while identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
Innovation Mindset: Maintain a test-and-learn approach, continuously exploring new strategies and tactics for campaign effectiveness.
Audience Expertise: Gain deep understanding of B2B and international student personas by analyzing industry trends and establishing compelling reasons to believe (RTBs). Become the internal expert on these target audiences.
Content Creation: Write compelling copy for emails, articles, social media posts, ads, and web content, tailored to diverse audience segments.
Industry Monitoring: Stay updated on industry news, trends, and developments related to the ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and marketing practices.
Partner Support: Collaborate with sales and admissions partners to strategize, create, and update tailored advertising, microsites, and collateral.
Email Campaign Management: Work with the email team to design and execute drip campaigns targeting key audience segments at various stages of the buyer’s journey.
Event Management: Plan and execute virtual client events focused on thought leadership. Develop pre- and post-event communications, promotional content, and materials such as recaps and event recordings.
Sales Collateral Development: Collaborate with sales and creative teams to create and maintain impactful sales collateral.
Creative Direction: Supervise creative teams to ensure all messaging is on-brand, strategically sound, and aligned with audience needs.
Web Content Development: Partner with the web team to strategize, write, author, and optimize web pages that support the overarching web strategy.
Campaign Analytics: Collaborate with analytics and operations teams to track, report, and assess campaign performance, using data to optimize future efforts.
Compliance & Brand Consistency: Ensure all external communications and materials adhere to brand guidelines and legal/compliance requirements by collaborating with relevant teams.
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience in marketing, including the planning, creation, and execution of direct marketing and online advertising campaigns.
At least 1 – 2 years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on strategy and execution required.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate objectives and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and metric-driven environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Salesforce, Content Management Systems, and Asana (or equivalent project management platform).
Travel: Ability to travel overnight up to 10%.
