Description

This team will be assisting with various projects such as Blue Green vacations acquisition integration, Windows 365 preparedness roll out, reprovisioning Thin clients, PC refresh/imaging etc.

To provide technology support in installing workstations, laptops, basic network equipment and cabling.

Supplementary Responsibilities Include:

• Install and test computer hardware and software including laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, application software, etc.

• Assist departments with mobile technology support including tablets, smartphones, etc.

• Serve as a conduit to help escalate technology issues and concerns to the assigned HGV technician. counterparts within the organization.

• Assist with system and network issues as defined by HGV IT team.

• As needed, maintain inventory of workstations and associated equipment; assist in identifying equipment that may require upgrade.

• Assist with IT projects as assigned by IT management (including relocating IT inventory, WiFi signal testing, etc.)

Top Skills Details

1)Minimum 2-3+ years of Hands on IT support (desktop support/pc tech work)

2)Understanding of Windows 10, and basic understanding of networking (i.e. what to check if internet is down, imaging/refresh/migration experience)

3)Great customer service and interpersonal skills(Experience with interfacing with end users and walking them through how they fixed their issue)

Plus if they have some asset management experience as they will be tagging monitors and printers as they come in/get deployed

• Basic information technology skills

• Comprehend basic IT directions

• Assist with office moves, disconnect/reconnect equipment.

• Two or more years of technical support experience or related field work

• Good customer service presence with good communication skills (written and verbal), presentable in working in a corporate environment as necessary.

• Demonstrates the ability to translate technical knowledge for non-technical audiences

• Possess problem solving skills with the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Familiar with Windows 10 and newer operating system

• Basic IT network skillset

• Cable management
