Job Title: TIG/MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG welder to join our team on the 1st shift. The role primarily involves custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures, with a focus on both MIG and TIG disciplines. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in reading complex blueprints and fabricating steel and aluminum structures. The position requires expertise in Pedal TIG welding, with a workload consisting of approximately 80% TIG and 20% MIG welding.
Responsibilities
Perform custom TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminum structures.
Read and interpret complex blueprints to fabricate and weld structures.
Utilize Pedal TIG welding techniques in the manufacturing process.
Work on varied projects, including small custom computer cabinets and large custom frames for the oil industry.
Handle materials with thickness ranging from 3/32 to 1/2 inch, including aluminum, low carbon steel, and stainless steels.Essential Skills
2+ years of MIG welding experience.
1+ year of TIG welding experience.
2+ years of experience working from blueprints.
1+ year of fabricating experience.
1+ year of welding experience on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in fit-up welding and Pulse MIG welding.

Work Environment
The position is on the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2:00am. The work involves manufacturing products like Thermo King and Delkor and Beckman-Coulter items. Our team focuses on custom welding, requiring candidates with significant experience due to the complexity of the custom blueprints. We offer a full-service metal manufacturing environment with capabilities ranging from prototyping to precision metal fabrication and machining.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
