Your Opportunity with Us:

Our Manager of Applications is part of our cross-functional Information Technology Team and oversees the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and roadmap of third-party applications, as well as internally developed Power Apps.

This is a cross-interorganizational role that blends team management, consulting, design, engineering and quality assurance experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

A strong candidate would be ready to embrace the following key responsibilities:

Lead development and release efforts for Power Apps and the configuration of our third-party apps to ensure the company’s ability to leverage their full functionality.

Facilitate requirements gathering and ensure that the design for new features and bug fixes appropriately align with stakeholder requirements, while also actively contributing to the design.

Closely Collaborate with business units and stakeholders in the assessment and implementation of new applications or application features, and integrations, that align to the business needs.

Ensure proper planning, capacity management, documentation and training is always considered as part of the application lifecycle management process.

An eligible candidate would have the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience

At least 5-7 years of leading a team of application analysts/developers to manage an application portfolio

Proven experience in SDLC methodologies and managing the SDLC and roadmap for internal and third-party applications

Excellent team management skills and experience managing an applications team

Demonstrated experience in sourcing, configuring, deploying and managing third-party applications.

Proven experience in managing third-party vendors and vendor relationships

Highly organized, able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, application enhancements and related tasks simultaneously

Strong expertise in Power Apps development and deployment.

Advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing detailed information and performing risk or impact assessment

Ability to pivot as necessary to accommodate the needs of the company and its users

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to determine requirements and align expectations

Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment

Flexible and adaptable for growth and learning new technologies and skills
