Job Description
Solar Impact Inc. is searching for an experienced Solar Installer / Electrician to join our growing operations department. The person in this role is responsible for efficiently installing solar and electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following traits:
3-5 years of solar and electrical experience
Willing to participate in the Electrical Apprenticeship program
Hands-on experience with NEC
Ability to work independently and on a team
High attention to detail and attention to process
Working knowledge of digital devices and programs
Strong work ethic and ambition to succeed

$17 - $22 per hourResponsibilities:

Install electrical equipment per NEC guidelines
Demonstrate proficiency in bending conduit
Collaborate with a team to complete all tasks related to solar installations, such as job preparation, roof layout, racking, attachment, and system monitoring
Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers and team members
Ensure a safe work environment by strictly following Solar Impact protocols and OSHA regulations
Keep tools and parts organized on installation vehicles
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment
Engage in the Electrical Apprenticeship program
Participate in all required safety training
Participate in all required solar installation training
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient project progress
Evaluate completed projects to identify areas for improving efficiency
Meet attendance and punctuality requirements set by Solar Impact
Work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary to meet project demands
Travel and work out of town as neededQualifications:
3 to 5 years of prior electrical experience or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program strongly preferred.
A valid driver's license and insurability are required.
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be capable of working at great heights.
Able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for prolonged periods.
Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
Must comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures.
Availability to work overtime and weekends is required.
Electrical Apprentices must be willing to attend night classes.
Safety is a top priority. Must continuously work in a manner that prevents accidents.About Company
