About the Role:

The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within the Tolovana Inn. This position ensures that all laundry items are washed, dried, folded, and stored properly, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction. Attention to detail is essential, as the quality of laundry directly impacts the comfort and impression of our guests. The Laundry Attendant will also be responsible for managing laundry supplies and equipment, ensuring that everything is in good working order. Ultimately, this role supports the operational efficiency of the inn and helps uphold our commitment to excellence in hospitality.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred.

Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and processes.

Basic knowledge of stain removal techniques.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures.

Inspect laundry for stains and damage, and take appropriate action to address any issues.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and supplies.

Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.

Adhere to safety and sanitation standards while operating laundry equipment.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include the ability to operate laundry machines efficiently and safely, which is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow. Friday thru Monday 4pm - 9pm
