What's the role?
The Senior Website Designer & Developer is a strategic and creative expert who leads the design, development, and ongoing optimization of client websites and digital experiences. As part of our digital team, this role plays a key leadership role in delivering highly functional, visually engaging websites that drive results. This position reports to the Marketing & PR Director and serves as a primary resource for website-related projects, contributing to both digital strategy and execution. Work includes:
Leading the website team by supervising and reviewing work, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Designing and developing responsive, conversion-focused websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implementing performance optimizations, third-party tool integrations, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
Managing content updates, page builds, and form integrations to ensure brand consistency and compelling user experiences.
Collaborating with content creators, designers, and clients to bring messaging and campaigns to life through strong UX/UI.
Participating in client meetings to gather requirements, present concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver exceptional service.
Troubleshooting technical issues, managing hosting environments, maintaining site security, and ensuring optimal functionality.
Staying current on digital trends and tools, and mentoring others through knowledge sharing and innovation.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, or a related field.
2+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing websites.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Familiarity with SEO, web analytics, Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager), and basic server administration.
Strong creative skills, UX/UI sensibility, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Office 365; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Google Workspace, and digital ad platforms preferred.
Leadership experience and ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Comfortable using mobile devices for work-related tasks and maintaining confidentiality.

What will my schedule look like?
This is a full-time, salaried position supporting standard office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We pride ourselves on flexibility to support work-life balance.
