Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, and expand a sales territory of existing customers and identify new customers and opportunities;
Develop and follow a territory sales plan that aligns with growth forecasts and sales goals;
Build successful internal and external customer relationships;
Be part of a team that effectively utilizes Company resources and shares leads with other sales colleagues;
Work independently without daily supervision, but remain responsive to Company management requests for assignments and account intelligence;
Facilitate the sales forecast and input to the company’s CRM system;
Become very knowledgeable on assigned product lines, striving to become a resource of solutions for assigned customers;
Negotiate win-win contracts that make good business sense for the Company and our customers;
Travel throughout the assigned territory with overnight travel as required.
Requirements:
2-5 years of automation & controls outside sales experience with application knowledge of pneumatics, electronics (controls) and aluminum framing products;
An engineering degree is preferred or commensurate experience;
Strong technical and communication skills both written and verbal;
Proven track record—candidate has successfully demonstrated technical know-how in previous job or project assignments;
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, contact management/CRM software;
Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical aptitude.
