Were looking for a Product Development Leader who will be ourChief Engineer / Chief Technology Officer to join our executive leadership team and take full ownership of all product development and all technical functionsincluding mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering. Youll be the driving force behind our product roadmap, the architect of our technology strategy, and the leader who ensures our products are innovative, reliable, and built to scale. This role is hands-on, high-impact, and mission-critical to the future of RC Mowers.

We develop, engineer, and ultimately control our own IP. Our technology stack includes embedded controls, custom electromechanical subsystems, autonomous navigation, vision systems, custom radio controls, PC based hardware, PCB board design, real-time data processing, Mobile apps and desktop reporting, and cloud-connected fleet management tools. We also internally design and assemble most of our own mechanical products and systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Youll have full ownership of engineering strategy and executionwith the autonomy to shape our technical vision, grow your team, and leave your mark on a category-defining company.

- Own the entire product development lifecyclefrom concept through launch and ongoing support

- Represent engineering and product development on the executive leadership team

- Lead all engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, software/firmware, systems, etc

- Define and drive product and technology strategy in alignment with customer needs and business goals

- Ensure timely delivery of innovative, manufacturable, and serviceable products

- Oversee sustaining engineering and continuous improvement of existing product lines

- Build and scale engineering processes, tools, and capabilities

- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing technical talent

- Foster a results-oriented, collaborative, and innovative team culture

- Balance technical depth with strategic thinking and executive leadership

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A proven track record of leading product development and engineering in fast-paced, high-growth environments

- Experience in robotics, automation, off-road equipment, or complex electromechanical systems

- Deep technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines

- Demonstrated success bringing commercial hardware products to marketat scale and with excellence

- A systems thinker who can dive into the details without losing sight of the big picture

- Strong project management skills and a clear understanding of how products move from concept to production and beyond

- Exceptional leadership and communication skillsable to collaborate across disciplines, challenge ideas constructively, and inspire high performance

- An unwavering commitment to quality, performance, and designing for real-world customer success

- Passion for building exceptional teams and delivering products that make a difference

- A bachelors degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, etc.)

- At least 12 years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of cross-functional teams

- An entrepreneurial spiritvision-driven, willing to take smart risks, and motivated by building something extraordinary
