Summary:
Secondary Marketing Analyst plays a central role in Filo Mortgage’s pricing strategy and execution. The position will develop a deep understanding of Filo’s business-purpose mortgage product guidelines and pricing mechanics to facilitate daily transaction execution as well as product and go-to-market strategy. The position will interface daily with production channel managers implementing and evaluating strategies to maximize revenue. This position is for an energetic, motivated, and entrepreneurial mortgage finance professional who is eager to join a rapidly growing team and shape the future of the organization in a positive and fulfilling way.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert for product guidelines / loan level pricing and work closely with both internal production teams and external investor partners in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
Deploy pricing strategies with multiple software partners and manage margin strategies for multiple production channels
Continuously analyze and benchmark peers’ lending guidelines and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness
Manage pipelines within two separate origination systems ensuring accuracy of data and pricing execution
Develop reporting benchmarks for key business metrics
Ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
B.A. / B.S. from an accredited four-year college/university. A degree in Finance or Mathematics is preferred but not required.
5+ years of mortgage experience in a Secondary Marketing function
Experience with Optimal Blue administrative functions
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills
Hands on, self-starter able to work independently in a fast paced, constant changing environment
Expert level user of Microsoft Excel
