Work closely with the sales team to understand the customer’s requirements
Demonstrate products and provide technical expertise to drive sales growth and revenue
Install, configure, and integrate products into a customer’s platform stack and give guidance and training where necessary
Remote work with occasional travel when necessary
Candidate must reside within 25 miles of Columbia, MDResponsibilities:
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers, highlighting key features and benefits
Develop and deliver customized demos, proof-of-concepts, and trials to showcase product capabilities
Collaborate with the sales teams to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to address them
Provide technical expertise and answers to customer questions during the sales process
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
Run through installation procedures with the Customer both onsite and/or remotely
Work through integration procedures to ensure that products are part of a better-together solution
Collaborate with the customer to ensure that product value is demonstrable efficiently and effectively with minimal liftRequired Skills:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking Engineering, or related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering)
Two (2) or more years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role (or equivalent experience in a related field) with a focus on networking technologies and/or cybersecurity
Extensive knowledge of computer networking fundamentals (e.g., OSI model)
Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and integration technologies (e.g., API management, authentication and data transformation)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Skilled in working version/source control systems using Git technology
Familiarity working within Agile development methodologiesDesired Skills:
Technical sales experience
Familiarity with industry-specific technologies (e.g., cybersecurity tools)
Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI)
Experience with ServiceNow platform (e.g. CDBB, ITSM, GRC)
Strong foundation in Software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN)
Compensation Range: $150,000 - $175,000
