WeareseekingaStructuralEngineertojoinourTechnicalDepartment,workingoutofourMelrosePark,ILcorporateoffice.Thisrolewillworkwithavarietyofproprietarysoftware'stopreparequotations,calculations,drawings,andperformstructuralanalysisforstoragerackprojects.Thisrolewillalsoberesponsibleforreviewingspecificationsandensuringallprojectsareuptoqualitystandardsandindustrycodes.

Responsibilities:

Preparequotationsandinstallationdrawingsforstoragerackprojects.

Createbillsofmaterialforproposalsandorders.

Prepareengineeringdesigncalculationsandlayouts.

Performstructuralanalysistomeetcustomerspecificationsandavarietyofcodes.

Preparefabricationandinstallationdrawings.

Communicatedailywithsalespersonnelinordertounderstandandcustomizesolutionsbasedoncustomerneedsandassistprojectmanagerswithinstallationquotequestionsandsolutionrecommendations.

Workwithathirdpartyengineeringserviceandotherproductproviderstohelpintegrateourproductswithoutsidepurchasedsystems.

Maintainproprietarystructuraldesignprograms

Otherdutiesasneeded. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

Experience working with AutoCAD preferred

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Solid understanding of engineering principles

Ability to work in office, at our Melrose Park, IL Headquarters, 100% of the time.

Spanish language knowledge preferred.
