What You'll Do
Lead the product development initiatives for Federal Package, working closely with R&D to bring new filled products to life by leveraging existing equipment or integrating new technologies.
Spearhead the initiation, validation, and implementation of processes from lab bench through to full-scale commercial compounding and filling, ensuring process efficiency while adhering to FDA regulations.
Drive Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish Critical Processing Parameters (CPP), analyze data, and optimize processes for consistent product quality and robust performance.
Lead and mentor a team of Process Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on new product introductions, process optimization, and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA/OTC, MoCRA) and industry best practices during the scaling process.
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges using Lean/Six Sigma, DOE, and statistical tools to enhance process efficiency. What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
5+ years of experience scaling processes from lab to full-scale in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of OTC process validation, compounding/filling operations, and MoCRA requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively and meet deadlines.
Proven expertise in thermodynamics, mixing energy, and hands-on troubleshooting of process challenges.
