Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Data Center Engineer to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for ensuring the infrastructure availability, performance, and stability to support the strategic goals of the environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support for current and future enterprise systems

Participate in and optimize IT infrastructure implementation, forecasting, and maintenance

Support the design, development, and management of network servers, storage, and monitoring systems

Design, plan, install, preview, and evaluate data center infrastructure

Provide management to improve administration, monitoring, reporting, and standards operating procedures

Troubleshoot data center systems including any reported data center issues and recommend improvements

Identify and help create documentation for data center knowledge base

Manage current infrastructure equipment inventory levels

Provide input for overall data center planning and related projects

Work with customers to assist with data center capacity and high availability requirements REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's degree or relevant work experience

5+ years of experience with Broadcom, VCF8, Vsphere, NSX across several Data Centers

Experience with administration of VMWare virtual environment using vSphere

Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows Server 2012

4+ years of experience deploying, managing, migrating, and upgrading Microsoft technologies

Deployment experience and managing MFA and security solutions

Basic Networking Knowledge

Experience with common network services

Experience conducting routine maintenance

Experience with public cloud providers PREFERRED SKILLS:

Industry certifications with Microsoft and/or VMware
