Job Description

Manage the quality of materials and services from external suppliers.

Conduct supplier audits and collaborate to resolve quality issues.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for defective materials.

Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Lead root cause investigations with cross-functional teams and oversee corrective action resolution.

Provide employee training on quality procedures and best practices.

Assist in Quality Management System gap analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work with Engineering to enhance measurement methods and production processes, implementing Lean practices.

Analyze manufacturing data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) from ERP systems.

Integrate additional quality capabilities within ERP systems.

Conduct internal quality audits and support quality documentation maintenance.

Communicate with customers and suppliers as required.

Serve as backup for Quality Technician and Quality Assurance Specialist.

Take on additional tasks and projects as directed by the Quality Team Leader.

The Successful Applicant

* 2-5 years' experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
