Core Lab Supervisor - Medical Technologist (ASCP)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Core Lab Supervisor (ASCP) to join our laboratory leadership team. This role is ideal for a certified Medical Technologist with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for quality patient care. The Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations within the Core Laboratory and ensure accurate, timely diagnostic testing in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Pay: $74,545 - $94,674

Schedule: Mid Shift 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Core Lab, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation.

Provide leadership and mentorship to lab staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.

Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and hospital policies and procedures.

Perform and oversee quality control procedures and instrument maintenance. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.

Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
