Description and Responsibilities

Extensive knowledge of TRACK

Responsible for the planning, set-up, and scheduling of all payroll and billing related activities at the project site. Duties include supervising the allocation and acceptance of labor and material in Track, Track override approvals, review of rejections in a timely manner, monitoring and communicating with the client about outstanding or unauthorized allocations within the Track system, weekly payroll processing following timekeeping methods in accordance with company administrative and personnel policies and procedures, weekly billing reconciliation from the Track system, payment reconciliation by Track timesheets, supervising the maintenance of active and inactive payroll and personnel files, and making recommendations in regard to hiring, terminations, salary adjustments, and training of timekeeping personnel. Typically supervises one or more Timekeepers and the preparation of required reports. Requires a minimum of 4 years timekeeping, project accounting experience, computer experience, and up-to-date knowledge of benefit plans, IRS requirements/regulations, and EEO policies.

Computes total time worked by employees - Enter payroll into computer - May interview employees to discuss hours worked and pay adjustments. - Basic record keeping and other procedures for concentrating on details - Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
